Blockchain. Expansion Compliance Award

The first project carried out by ACCIONA using Blockchain technology was carried out jointly with the company’s Compliance Area.

Blockchain technology allowed to record in the blockchain all consulting processes with third parties, ensuring that all the company’s procedures were scrupulously complied with and leaving evidence of all the steps taken during the hiring of third parties for consulting work.

In 2018, Expansión received the award for the best Compliance project, which was collected by Vicente Santamaría de Paredes Castillo, general director of Acciona’s compliance area, receiving the award from Ricardo Martínez Martínez, partner of Deloitte.
