Yellow. Robotic dog for patrols
The Mutua Madrid Open continues to take steps forward in terms of technology, presenting both an important advance in security, where Prosegur will have ‘Yellow’, a robot dog integrated into its device, and in terms of communication, where they will offer daily content through a new ‘Twitch’ channel to improve the experience of the fans ahead of the tournament that runs until May 8.
The Madrid tournament has announced an important innovation in its security device, in which it works together with Prosegur and in which it will have a robot dog that “will contribute to the objective of increasing the security of the nearly 300,000 people” who will attend this year to the Mutua Madrid Open.
More than 200 will be the people who will make up the security team of the tournament, organized in three rings from the outside of the facility to the inside, the main novelty of the device being an intelligent robot dog named ‘Yellow’ and that will be integrated through of the GenzAI platform “which allows communicating any risk situation to the Prosegur Control Center (SOC) through 5G technology”, explains the organization.
‘Yellow’ can detect suspicious elements, recognize them and generate an alert based on its ability to analyze videos, in addition to having temperature sensors to warn of fires or gases, among others. In the tournament, this robot dog will be used for both solo and supervised rounds. In addition, he will be a “VIP guard” who will accompany players to matches or training sessions.
