Cuenca Carbon Fiber Stressed Ribon Footbridge
Cuenca’s new pedestrian platform is an example of modern civil engineering. Its construction based on carbon fiber cable make it unique in Spain and in the world. It will be ready in mid-April. The walkway, with 213 meters in length and a height of 20 meters, is a spectacular work that rises from the Park of Los Moralejos to the area of the institutes, the hospital and the university campus, crossing the Júcar River. Thanks to its construction, students will be able to save up to 15 minutes of walking.
